Darna, Shiva, Superwoman

My friends call me Darna, others call me Superwoman. My boss calls me Shiva (maybe because he sees that I do a lot of multitasking, so I got plenty of hands). Strangely, my hubby calls me Miss Tokwa. But, these pet names are all work related.

I am always one of the boys. I do things all at once. I do not mind sleeping like a production assistant, in a bus, on a train, in jeep. I have to catch sleep whenever and wherever. Being a mom of a five-month old, having sleepless nights and got several jobs all at the same time is not an easy work.

I love working. I love deadlines. I am always one of the boys. I write scripts for TV. I do events. I love meeting up with clients. I love helping a business I believe worth helping. I am Darna, Superwoman, Shiva, Ms. Tokwa and Mommy all bundled into one. :D
Being a mom is still the best job.

General meeting for safety and security management for the upcoming Rock & LOL Concert slated on February 14, 2014

First to arrive, last to leave.At 2:00 in the morning, I'm still finishing the technical script. Coffee and more cups of coffee to make me awake.

In between coordination, I sometimes would be able to squeeze in a sit-down meeting. Here with Papi, Atty. Francis Papica and ABS-CBN RNG Station Manager and a good friend of the family, Ms. Amy Villafuerte.

I was able to direct the show.

The Raya School Naga's Pagtatapos 2016

I was able to attend the graduation rites "Pagtatapos" of The Raya School in Naga City.  I accompanied my favorite Kumadres, Ms.Bernadette de Los Santo, the guest speaker of the moving up event.  How cute! White jacket instead of toga with Ms. Rica Buenaflor and Ms. B. It's not the usual graduation rites with processional and toga and stiff ceremonies. It was cool, relaxed, but one of the most meaningful and sentimental graduation rites of prep and kindergarten I'd ever been.   Fashion show featuring abaca products A super cute song number The kids had fun singing, dancing, reading and  strutting their abaca stuff. I guess it's their final thesis. They gave us all their perception on how they learned things in Raya through poetry and music and their videos on field trips and school presentations and their entrepreneurial skills!  During their pagtatapos they presented different products of abaca, its uses and even recited a poem....

Corn bread, our family's favorite bread

Always perfect for coffee, tea or milk  I discovered baking  corn bread I guess when I was pregnant with Mikee. I was working home-based  that time. And because I was at home most of the time, I had the time to prepare meals for the family and try dishes and breads and pastries while waiting for the stork. That was years ago. Mikee is now three years old. After I gave birth, I went back to work and was frantically busy with everything. Cooking and baking was put aside. But you know, when you're a Mom, there's always this longing to cook and bake something for the family. It happened again, the cooking muse found me again, one rainy afternoon trip when I was on my way home to Naga from Legazpi. Learning to breathe again

Obviously, yes,  every part of my body is aching tonight. Most especially my wrists and my arms. I am not young anymore. I am not that flexible as before. I cannot reach my toes, I cannot lift or twist my body like I used to do, but surprisingly, I still can lift my butt with that certain yoga position, i can do the child's post and keep my balance but definitely, not that locust position. That one in the picture you're looking at, that's after my very first basic yoga class. I asked my yoga teacher to take a photo of me for this blog and as souvenir. A photo that would remind me that I was able to survive my first yoga class. I was able to keep up with the rest of my yoga classmates. I scrambled while following the  instructions of the yoga teacher who can do all the positions with ease, with impeccable balance, with great stamina.
