Mom of many hats and shoes

Image
I wear many hats. I'm a working mother. click here ( to find out more about what I do)     I cook.  I do household chores (well except for the laundry and ironing).  I do gardening (when I have time). I feed the kids. and I do these things repeatedly, almost everyday. However, I'm a friend too, a sister, a soul mate, a wife, I join good causes like planting trees saving the Bicol River and I'm part-time  blogger. I go to the public market. I enjoy doing this with my Mikee. I wear flip flops. sometimes you just have to kick off your shoes and give your feet a rest. It's a complicated, haywire, multi-tasking ability to wear different "mother"  hats and fulfill all the roles all at the same time. I pick up the baby when she cries. I change diapers while cooking. I check emails while preparing snacks for the kids. I line in long queue to pay bills while reading. I manage my time between meetings and having coffee with friends. my handy shoes s

Conspired Noel Cabangon | March 18, 2015

My friend told me I am a stalker of this folk singer. He had a concert a month ago and in less than a month I am in Manila to catch him perform live. I cannot get over Noel Cabangon or as I always tell them, hindi ako talaga makabangon. I can-not-move on! Can-not! His songs are my forever LSS! Dream come true: Conspiracy bar. Bucket list, check! I love this place. I'm at home. every corner spells and spills with art Can't believe that I'm again with my ultimate idol/crush/LSS Noel Cabangon but this time with my super best-friend, Monet I am very selective in music and with singers. If I like singer, I would play the singer's playlist over and over again as if there's only one singer in this planet. I admit that after the concert, I became also an instant fan of Noel Cabangon, just like some audience who watched his concert last February 20. We ordered for margarita and gin tonic and some squidballs. Kilig much. We're seated just

My Journey at Byahe : The Noel Cabangon Concert

Noel Cabangon said to us, don't worry,  we can never go wrong, God is on our side. I remember that line of Noel like a mantra. For some strange reasons, it made me reflect on a lot of things.  It's only in this event that I happened to realize that I already have managed countless events. When somebody asked me how many events I've handled, I enumerated to her several of my big events and she said, that's a lot. How were you able to handle that? You have kids, a family. Where are are you getting all that energy, the balance? I couldn't answer for a while. I have to ask myself too. And I remember this one quote that said "Find a work you really love, and you'll never work in a day.:  Maybe that's my driving force. I never look at this job as work. Lay out of this poster is designed by Jerome Ordovez I always look work as an experience. A chance to meet new friends. Maybe, along the way, I can stumble upon a good opportunity which can deve

#SSSstaycation | A busy Mommy's breather

Mommy on staycation!Woohoo! :D Relaxing at Crown Hotel I was invited to a staycation with a bunch of bloggers. young. yes, young bloggers! I am the only mommy in the group. But, I don't feel like it. Pillow fight! The #SSSstaycation gang at the Plaza Quince Martires I always have this feeling that  I stopped aging at the age of 25! Most probably this is the reason why I look younger compared to women my age. And the feeling-25-forever is in my mindset. (Oh eureka! maybe this is my own version of the fountain of youth! ) My body feels that way, young, energetic, tireless! Yeah,  I don't get easily tired . I can dance for two hours without having leg cramps or any body pain. I can stay until the wee hours of the morning and although in zombie mode, I can work. My hands are full with work, family, home management, meetings, travels, lots of things! Life has blessed me with a youthful and healthy body. Okay, going back to being the only mommy i
