Grill platter. Good for sharing. :) around 300.00 Dinuguan manok. Fer's favorite :) Bob Marlin prepared a feast for us :D Kare-Kare,another favorite of Fer :D Bob Marlin Coolers. Around 120.00 per pitcher with different flavors with minimal splash of vodka :D Our last food taping in January was at Bob Marlin Restaurant owned by the ever generous Tito Jorge and Tita Cristy Palma, the reggae themed restaurant has been on its existence since the late 1980s. It started as Cristy's Kamayan, then they tweaked it to a more hip restaurant thus Bob Marlin. I won't be blabbering about Bob Marlin anymore because I know you already have tasted their to die for Crispy Pata - their best-seller! :) so, here goes my photo story: The famous Bob Marlin Crispy Pata, crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside :) Grilled squid, just right to the bite Bicol Express and Laing, appetizer :) Atty, Francis and Tita Cristy, both enjoying the limelight

Eating in the van. I don't want to get hungry cause migraine really hits me hard. So, it's okay if I eat on the road :D Our interviewees at times treated us to a restaurant. This time, we were in one of the good restaurants (Sorry, forgot the name:( ) I love the cheese pizza and the lemonade. Took some to eat at the hotel too :) This is usually how our hotel room looks like. newspapers and camera equips plus food go altogether :D A little chat with Relish REstaurant owner, Sir Yong. :D  Sometimes, I got lucky too. That's Toby Alejar (not our interviewee) but he just appeared on our location. Incidentally, he's the part owner of the restaurant ;) GMA 7 uprising star, Benjamin Alves. He's Piolo Pascual's nephew. He's the only celebrity I had a loooong chat with. We have the same major in college, English Lit. :) Three cheese pizza! A must-try! After the shoot, we all eat together. That's Bob Marlin's owner, the ever-

TODAY WITH FRANCIS | RELISH RESTAURANT SEGMENT TAPING

Image
Relish Restaurant | Quezon City PORK BELLY WITH SIDE SALAD. Good for Two. ;) This restaurant is the most photographed among all the other restaurants we visited. Every nook is really picture perfect. Can't help but to take pictures. :D RELISH ROASTED CHICKEN WITH TARTAR SAUCE. What i remember from this dish is the herbed rice. It's really good. Actually everything they served was really to die for. All the meats are tender and juicy. :) This signage will welcome you to a super Relish experience :D :D i love the font and i love the quotes you'll find in the restaurant. :) We had been to Romulo's in Makati and Cerchio along Quezon City, both restaurants are owned by the famous beautiful couple Yong and Ivy Nieva (Ivy is the popular interior designer, remember the Almario sisters?) For the third time, we're going to feature one of their newest restaurants called RELISH. It's located along Tomas Morato in Quezon City, it's very close

Today with Francis Taping | The Chef's Lab

Another photo story due to my laziness during my first trimester of pregnancy. It was really tiring to go around Metro Manila, but I always look forward to tapings. I don't want to miss any tapings, especially when it comes to food segments. I don't want to miss that out. Never mind the celebrities, I'm over with the starstruck syndrome - well, maybe with Regine Velasquez, I will go out my way just to have an up close meeting with her. It was my first time to meet the celebrity chef Bruce Lim. There were already raves about his cooking and his restaurants both located at BGC at the Fort. Unfortunately, one of his restaurants, The Chef's Table folded up due to its location which was not that accessible, unlike the Chef Lab which we just visited. He's one of the nicest chefs I met, kind, approachable and very down to earth. Chef bruce Lim, big, bald and bold (when it comes to food) also has his own cooking show at the Food Network on Asian Channel. So, he's re
