Apicius Culinary School Naga : Every Dessert has a Story to Tell

 Today, I will look at desserts on a different perspective. Because behind the sweetness and the sugar coats and the chocolates, there's an inspiring and sentimental stories to tell. Because life is like a box of small cakes... you enjoy it. Sugary flowers! The puff pastries according to a very inspired guy   was told to have been folded for days for perfection.And it was heavenly.  The cupcakes are just as sweet as  well as the wonderful story of the entrepreneurial spirit of the woman who baked it. The crepe, it's thinness and smoothness as the filling just burst into your mouth. How come it reminded me of how the woman, a teacher from a far away town, dreaded the path of her comfort zone and did something she herself did not expect to do. The Raya School Naga's Pagtatapos 2016

I was able to attend the graduation rites "Pagtatapos" of The Raya School in Naga City.  I accompanied my favorite Kumadres, Ms.Bernadette de Los Santo, the guest speaker of the moving up event.  How cute! White jacket instead of toga with Ms. Rica Buenaflor and Ms. B. It's not the usual graduation rites with processional and toga and stiff ceremonies. It was cool, relaxed, but one of the most meaningful and sentimental graduation rites of prep and kindergarten I'd ever been.   Fashion show featuring abaca products A super cute song number The kids had fun singing, dancing, reading and  strutting their abaca stuff. I guess it's their final thesis. They gave us all their perception on how they learned things in Raya through poetry and music and their videos on field trips and school presentations and their entrepreneurial skills!  During their pagtatapos they presented different products of abaca, its uses and even recited a poem.  I bet yo
