Mornings at Bigg's.

Image
Wafi's favorite country breakfast Bigg's is always special to all the Bicolanos,  apart from the fact that it's our homegrown restaurant known for its good food, we have our own special moments and memories at Bigg's. For 30 years or so, Bigg's has been the witness of some moments of our lives. Well this chair has been very convenient to my 3-month old baby. Did you know that her first visit at one week old was at Bigg's? :) Still sleeping. Waiting for our order. We made friends at Bigg's, lose them along the way, then make new ones. We celebrate our triumphs and despair.  We laughed when we're at our happiest, and cried at our lowest. We celebrate love but ate that chocolate cake when we're broken-hearted. That's Wafi and her I Love You sign. :D Time for a heavy breakfast. Gaby enjoying her tapsilog Baby Mikee at 3-months. It happened in one corner of Bigg's. Every chair, every table and every waiting number

Coming Out

If you are wondering that this blog got no views it is because I had this blog since 2012 but never had it viewed by public. Most of the posts were from my work and I don't really want to appear bragging. Well, some of my not-anymore friends misconstrued my blogging and even my posts on facebook as nang-iingit. But honestly. It's just to keep track of my travels and the things I did at work. In the future, I want my kids to read this blog and reminisce about how their mom made tambling day after day. Wafi with the clowns So, here I am, finally, getting public, coming out. (After cleaning up my facebook not anymore friends).  I am not a good writer. I write when I feel like it. I don't get paid by writing my blog but yes, I got some perks every now and then. I am dedicating this blog to my children and to my friends who continuously enjoy reading my blog, privately before. :D Now, it's already public. Cheers to all and Merry Christmas! :D My three girls with

Afternoon Tea at the Avenue Plaza Hotel

Image
Enjoying teatime with some of my colleagues. Did you know that afternoon tea time was actually created because the Duchess of Bedford had this "sinking feeling" at four o'clock in the afternoon? To combat the "feeling low" feeling, her servants served her a pot of tea and some bread. She invited some of her friends to join her. Since then, the afternoon tea practice became so popular. So, if you have that sinking feeling, or you just want to have a quiet chat with your friends, or you're having a meeting; try the afternoon tea at the Avenue plaza Hotel. The Afternoon tea is only P342.00 nett with gourmet sandwiches, pastries and desserts. Good for two to four persons. You'll get to choose which Twining's tea flavor you like. According to Avenue Plaza Hotel 's CEO, Mr. Allan Cu, they will be launching another set of afternoon tea which will include eclairs, cream puffs and scones. My compliments to the pastry chef, Abi
