Mister Donut Store Re-opening

Image
One of the perks of being a blogger is you always get invited to launches and openings of a business. Come to think of it, most of the local businesses can't afford the above the line budget for marketing. It would always cost them an arm and a leg. Bloggers or digital marketing in my honest opinion is the best marketing tool these days.  It's cost effective and it would also give an immediate result when friends share  posts or comment about the product posted on facebook or in the blog posts. Anyway, moving on, here are the photos of Mister Donut's store re-opening at the Pacific Mall, Legazpi City. Ms. LA Cu, the host during the opening. :D  Blessing of the store. :D Coin shower for good luck. Got plenty of coins and candies as well. The spread. pica pica buffet sandwiches galore Donuts for free :D Twist I love the salad :D This is my ultimate favorite A variety of donuts to choose from Kuya Ricky doing his wor...

Gaby's Banana Fritters

Image
When you're a stay at home mom, you don't have any choice but to oversee everything. For almost two months, I do most of the household chores, except for cooking, Fer makes sure that he cooks healthy for us. For almost two months or so, there's more vegetables and fish on our table. If there's meat, it's just chicken. Later did Gaby and I realize that eating meat is like a habit. When you eat it all the time, your taste buds will be craving for it. Now, because we're used to eating more vegetables and fish, we now forget to even ask for pork or any meat. I sometimes spoil the kids cooking fried chicken every now and then. Maybe once every two weeks. Anyway, because I am a stay at home mom for the meantime that we're still on a look out for a maid. I usually let Gaby do some cooking when our hands are free from Mikee (read as: Mikee sleeping ). Here's Gaby's Banana Fritters or  in Tagalog,   Maruya or Baduya in Bicol. Peel the bananas or saba ...

Rock my Memories

Image
I am a person always in awe with just about anything when I'm in a new place. I look at how blue are the skies, the busyness of the crowd, the smell of the food, the noise of traffic, the murmur of the sea - I sometimes have to close my eyes to remember. F or me, there's always a story behind every travel, every work, every meeting. It's too hard to remember everything - but in some of journeys, there are memories, I want to remember.  These are some of the rocks I myself picked up. The rock  from Pyramid, one of my favorites.  C ome to think of it the photos we took help us to remember but personally, I think when I hold the rock or pebble I got from the roadside, or beach front or just randomly picking a pebble when I want to remember vividly the place I'd been - when I want to touch it and feel it once more and think about the memories that go with the rock - the feel and the touch holds whatever my heart cannot speak. Is there an e...
